Strictly speaking, weighing control instruments are imported products and not an invention unique to China. However, since such products were introduced to China decades ago, the hardworking and innovative people of China have incorporated their own creative elements. These innovations have made such products better suited to the Chinese market while also allowing them to step onto the global stage, serving users worldwide.
Today, we will introduce a weighing control instrument. From here on, we will refer to it simply as the “instrument.” Its internal model is SH-711, with the following basic parameters: dual five-digit segment display, three relay groups, optional analog output, and 485 digital output. This compact instrument measures just 96x48x110mm in length, width, and depth.

Wiring Instructions
Let us provide a detailed explanation of the wiring definitions:
- According to the diagram:
- 1 and 2 are the wiring for 485 communication.
- 3 and 4 are for external zeroing; short-circuiting these terminals enables the zeroing function.
- 5/6/7/8 are designated for the sensor wiring.
- 9 and 10 are the wiring definitions for analog signal output.
- 11 and 12 are the wiring for the third relay group, which is normally open.
- 13/14/15 are for the second relay group, including both normally open and normally closed options.
- 16/17/18 are for the first relay group, also including both normally open and normally closed options.
Power Supply
Let’s highlight the power supply connections:
- For DC power supply, terminals 19 and 20 are for negative (-) and positive (+) connections, respectively. The power supply range is 10-28V DC.
- For AC power supply, terminals 19 and 20 are non-polarized (positive and negative connections are not required). This instrument supports both 110V and 220V AC to meet international market standards.
