In the previous article, we discussed the highlight features of the weighing control instrument when paired with sensors. In this article, we will focus on the output functions of the instrument, which are equally noteworthy.
The standard configuration includes three groups of relay outputs, featuring both normally open and normally closed contacts. Additionally, the instrument is equipped with an external zeroing terminal.
From the provided diagram, it is clear that the terminals for analog signal output and RS485 output are also included. Below, we will explain their functionality in detail with supporting illustrations.

RS485 Output – Modbus RTU Protocol

The diagram illustrates the Modbus RTU 485 protocol, one of the most widely used industrial communication protocols. According to the annotations:
- The protocol supports three modes: no parity, even parity, and odd parity, making it globally applicable.
- The maximum communication address is 253, and the baud rate can reach up to 600,000, which supports high-speed data transmission.
- The instrument also supports an active transmission mode, fulfilling the basic communication requirements of global users.
This level of flexibility and compatibility ensures the SH-711 instrument is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications worldwide.
Analog Output – Voltage and Current Signals

The diagram also showcases the analog output functionality. This instrument supports both voltage and current signals, including:
- 4-20mA, 4-12-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, and 0-5-10V signals.
Through over a decade of on-site parameter collection and analysis, we have ensured the integration and consistency of these signals. As a result, this functionality has already been applied in more than 15 countries worldwide, proving its reliability and versatility.
High-Precision Multi-Point Calibration

After performing analog signal output adjustments, if the signal accuracy does not meet expectations, or if there are inconsistencies when compared to measurements from different multimeters, there is no need to worry!
The instrument features a C8 parameter interface, which allows for multi-point calibration and signal linearization adjustments. This ensures that the analog signal output aligns perfectly with the standard data, providing high-precision measurement for engineering applications.
Conclusion
The SH-711 weighing control instrument offers an impressive array of output functions, including highly compatible RS485 communication, versatile analog output capabilities, and advanced calibration options. These features make it a reliable and precise solution for industrial use cases globally.
